WHAT IS ABUSE?
Abuse is something that may make
you angry, sad, worried or may even
hurt you physically. You could be abused
by another child, family or even a stranger.
Abuse can happen online as well as in real life.
HOW TO RECOGNISE ABUSE
Here is a quiz to see if you can recognise abuse.

Why Should I speak Out?
#1 You could stop other people from getting abused.
#2 It could stop YOU getting abused
#3 Police (or even the NSPCC) will be able to stop this
person hurting anyone else

#5 It'll make you and your family feel sooo much better
Neglect- When you're not feed or dressed
properly. You may starve or thirst. You may have been evicted
or be broke.
Types of Abuse
Emotional Abuse- When something is said or done that may hurt you emotionally. It could be an insult or a rude statement. You may worry about it a lot.
Sexual Abuse- When you are asked to show any private parts or see someone else's. You may be forced to watch inappropriate videos for a reward.
Grooming- When you are forced to do something you may not want to do for a reward. This may include theft or telling lies.
Bullying- When you are physically or emotionally hurt. You could be insulted or hurt physically. You can bullied online and in real life.
Don't be afraid to tell someone if your feeling worried or upset because they'd be able to help much more than if you were on your own.
Domestic Abuse- When you see or hear people fighting or hurting each. This may make you feel upset and alone.
