Stig of the dump

I rate this book 5 out of 5 because I thought it was a really good book

I think that a good year/age to read this book is year 3 .

This book is about a Boy who meets a man, the man lived at the bottom of a chalk pit and the Boy was called Barney and the man he met at the bottom of the chalk pit he had named Stig.

My favourite chapter of the book is the chapter when Barney wanders off by himself and falls into the chalk pit and that's where he meets Stig a strange looking man with two bright black eyes wearing some sort of rabbit skin. Barney and Stig were the complete opposite to each other but become very good friends. Stig was a caveman and they went on a lot of adventures together but had a few troubles along the way, from bumping into hunters , stopping robbers but most of all they had lots of fun together. They went through the rubbish dump at the bottom of the pit to give Stig's home a lovely makeover, when Barney tried to tell people about his best friend Stig nobody ever believed him, they thought he was making up an imaginary friend.
