All plants have a couple of things that are the same.The roots of the plants absorb the water from the soil.Did you know that roots need to keep warm so they have tiny specs of hair? The roots can be many shapes and sizes some are thin some are very thick! The roots are always underneath the soil.

The stem is like a train line because it transports the water to the top of of the plant.The stem is very important because it can absorb water if the roots are chopped off!Did you know a tree doesn't have a stem it has a tree trunk.

The petals are very attractive for birds,bees and butterflies.Many insects get the pollen from the flower. The petals are colourful for a reason to atrackt insects.
