should classes keep a pet in school?



children in Crynallt have been debating should we have a pet in class. 60% children believe have been saying that it causes a distraction in classes in between lessons. Many children think that we should have pets in class because it will make children smile every morning and it could e a chance for them if they had never got to have pet or hold a pet in their life. 50% of children say they could have a allergic reaction or they could be terrified of small pets. Should we have a pet in class?

In addition Having a pet in class would be the teachers and children responsibility. It can take a lot of work to take care of the animal such as feeding it , loving it as well giving it attention and exercise.The children might have not had a pet before so it could be a opportunity for them. when children stroke the animal it can give the animal love and it could be a an amazing chance for the pet.The children every morning can feel it through the cage to give them a smile on their faces and give the pet attention. every morning they could feel the pet it could put a smile on the child's face if their are angry or sad.

Some children are terrified and maybe even allergic to small pets. If we have a small pet and if you are allergic there could be a sign of you getting a disease. If kids poke their fingers through the cage it could get the animal annoyed and stressed. If kids keep poking through the cage it could be that they can start snapping or even be a case of start a bite to someone. If it was that we have a small when kids are working they could get a distraction from working.

Getting a distraction from teachers could be annoying not getting on with work or not concentrating.

In conclusion it could be a distraction taken away from valuble class time. Some students might have a hard time focussing on the teacher. Plus having a pet can cause a safety hazards and children might not know how to handle a pet. I think we should not have a pet in class for safety

its hard work and stressing for the animal and its a bit responsibility.
