1. Fidloqqom( Borage)-

This blue rare coloured

flower, when boiled,

is good as a medicine for cough.

2. Papoċċi ( Greater snapdragon)-

This is very popular with kids as

when pressed it is like a dragon's mouth.

3. Sagħtar ( Thyme)-

This small plant is good to cook

as it has a nice taste.

4. Ħarruba ( Carob tree)-

It is very common on the Maltese island,

it can be eaten and it lives for a long time.

5. Qarsu (Cape Sorrel)- This flower is very

common and is found everywhere. Its

yellow trumpet flowers open in winter and spring.
