Desert Island

One afternoon my friends and I decided to go on a boat ride. On our way, a storm came and we were shipwrecked. We landed on a desert island.

When we arrived we went around the island and realised that we were alone. Being exhausted after the storm, we found some big rocks and sat down. We chatted and discussed how are we going to survive in that island. So we decided to split into groups to find materials to prepare a shelter as it was soon night time. We got fire wood, stones and long weeds. One girl also managed to catch some fish so we could have dinner.

In the morning we went to explore the island. The

island was beautiful but it was deserted. It had a

long sandy beach next to the ocean and grass and

trees in the inland. On top of the island there was

a big black volcano. It had some small holes with

fresh and clean water that you can drink from. It

also had a lot of coconut and banana trees.

We were so confused. How could us girls survive on this deserted island? So we thought to start building a raft. We spent hours building this raft. One day we felt the ground shaking. And out of the blues we heard a loud noise coming out of the volcano. We looked over and saw black smoke coming out. We were so afraid.

In an instant, we jumped on the raft and ran to the water. We were paddling so hard to get away from that volcano. Looking back at the island, we saw lava coming down towards our shelter. After some time we saw a boat and started shouting for help. They saw us and took us aboard. We finally were rescued.

Arriving back on land was a relief and we were reunited with our families.
