Lion and the mouse

Once upon a time a lion caught a mouse. He laid his big paw on the mouse trapping him. The mouse was very scared.

The frightened mouse looked at the lion. He begged the lion to let him go.

The lion did not care about the mouse.So the lion let the mouse go.

Sometime later the lion accidentally stepped on a trap. Then the lion was trapped in a cage.

Then the mouse came to help the lion. The mouse got the lion out of the trap.

The lion and the mouse were friends for ever after. Both had learned that it is good

to help someone who has helped you.
