I am

I am a goose without its gaggle,

I wonder why they left me?

I hear them calling distantly.

I imagine a book without its pages.

I’m desperately crying to have a friend.

I am a table without its chairs.

I pretend I have a friend.

I feel like a playground with no children on it.

I worry I am an ice cream without any flavour.

I cry to have a friend.

I touch the winters snow.

I am a sheep without its flock.

I understand I don’t have a friend

I say to myself I am a body without a soul.

I dream I am a summers cloud

I try to make a friend

I hope my dreams will come true

I am a fly that doesn’t have wings

I am a table without its chairs

And I am a sheep without its flock.
