Spreadsheets

Useful for drawing graphs and doing calculations for us...... However, we need to make them work to do the last bit!

Computers do as they're told but don't think for themselves......... but you know that by now now.

In this end of term 'mini-unit' we will use J2E and Textease to draw a graph and learn how to create a few simple financial modelling spreadsheets.

Task 1

Use J2E to draw a table and graph the results.

E.g:

Top 5 tallest mountains, populated countries, longest rivers, tallest buildings........

Task 2

Use Textease Spreadsheet to create a simple spreadsheet that calculates a shopping bill.

Task 3

Create a more complex spreadsheet that models a simple shop.

E.g The Enterprise Fruit Shop, A small sports, food, toy.... shop.

J2E Currently doesn't have a spreadsheet , so we'll use Textease until it has one programmed into it.

However, you can do 'Print Screen' and paste into J2E to show what you have done.
