The Life Of Abasi- A Boy In West Africa

Reading about Abasi's story makes me realise how easy and trouble-free my life is in comparison. I only have to walk into the kitchen to get a glass of water whereas he and his family have to walk miles(and the water is not even clean). Abasi's family can not afford to send Karim to school, sometimes Abasi can not go to school because he has to work on the farm. I would not like to go to work because it would be hard and a lot of responsibility.

It would be horrible to feel in danger of illness ever time you drink, especially when you don't have any medicine. I think Abasi's father must work very hard to keep his family alive; it must be such a stressful life with very few comforts.Thinking about Abasi's family makes me realise how lucky I am.
