We have had so much fun this week exploring the story of 'Jack and the Beanstalk'. We have made castles using a range of construction kits and recycled materials. We have also created beanstalks using a variety of resources. We have really enjoyed making different sized beanstalks with play dough and talking about which is the tallest and shortest beanstalk. Some of us even managed to measure our beanstalks with cubes. Together we have created a large beanstalk in the classroom, each child has mixed yellow and blue paint to make their own shade of green for their leaf. We have used real beans to help us with our counting and matched the number of beans to the correct numeral. We have also had lots of fun in the snow! Well done Foundation 1, you have all worked really hard this week at home and at school. We are so proud of you all.
