We have had a super first week in Foundation sharing the story 'Oliver's Vegetables' linked to our learning theme, 'Growing'. We enjoyed discovering and learning about different vegetables and what they need to grow. We did observational drawings of the different vegetables and had fun weighing them and seeing which were the heaviest. We made face pictures using chopped up vegetables and matched vegetables to the correct initial sound. We started our new theme in JIGSAW called 'Relationships' and talked about who is in our family and how our family make us feel. We loved PE this week, we explored large balls and then played on the outdoor equipment on the KS1 playground.
