On Monday 29th February, Year 4 went the  Verulamium in St Albans. It was a very fantastic experience. It was inside and it was named after the most popular city in the Roman times. The Verulamium was a colossal museum and we found out quite a lot of facts. The people that worked there were very kind to us and I enjoyed it.

Once we had a lot of time looking around we went outside to see one of the heated floors the Roma ns had for their houses and the whole floor was still there apart from the heating, the heating was not there because the heating was fire. We had a some time to look around the outside before we went back into the Verulamium again.

We went back inside because we had workshop were we learnt about what the Romans could buy in the big market they had in the Verulamium city. It was a fantastic experience and I enjoyed the time we had there. I'm looking forward to when we are doing more about the Romans in the summer term.
