An update from the Human Resources committee

The HR committee have been busy this term interviewing new staff. We're happy to have appointed two new teachers for September- one permanent member of staff and one on a year's maternity leave contract.

We've also been updated on the performance management cycle. This is the process by which every staff member works through school and individual targets, including termly lesson observations and feedback for each teacher.

Mid year reviews have been completed and targets will be reviewed and reset at the beginning of the next academic year. We have reviewed and amended the remit for our committee and have ensured that staff are aware of and are updated on new Local Authority HR policies. Lastly, HR members have been looking at the latest changes to the Teachers Pension Scheme, pay and supply/overtime.
