Spring is very much here and for the challenge this week we ask that you go for a walk with your child and spot signs of new plant and animal life. To further involve your child and make links with technology they could take photos of the signs of spring that they find. You could send them via the school office email address:

office@cheswick-green.solihull.sch.uk

Alternatively, you can print some and send them to the Foundation unit via your child’s wallet. You are also welcome to post a list of the signs of spring and new life that you find on the blog.

The Great Foundation Easter Bake Off!

As part of our Enterprise fund raising, children and parents in the Foundation Stage are invited to take part in a competition to make the most creative Easter Bakes on Tuesday 4th April. The cakes will be on sale for Foundation 1 at Midday when you collect on Tuesday 4th April and Wednesday 5th April and for Foundation 2 at 3.30 pm on the Junior Playground on the same days.   Your creations will be judged by our School Catering Manager and she will award 1st, 2nd and 3rd prizes to children in F1 and F2.  Please ensure your cakes are nut free. All monies raised will be used to buy resources the children have requested within the Foundation Unit. We look forward to seeing your super creations!
