It's a knockout!

Two twins called Steve and Stacy, love tennis. Their family lives in Denston, a very small village. They'd watch a tennis match every afternoon or evening with their parents. It was a Saturday afternoon and the Hamilton family was all together on the sofa, watching a match. The children went to get more food from the kitchen, when suddenly there was an advert. Pete Samms, an amazing tennis player, was coming to their town! Samms and Denston's best tennis player are going to have a match next Wednesday! "Wow!" Dad said "Quick! Steve, Stacy come over here!" "No need to explain. We heard the television!" Stacy said."Can we go, please?" asked Steve. They stared into his eyes and made him say, "Oh alright, sure. I can't say no to you can I?"

On Wednesday afternoon, the whole family was in the car.... The children had faces filled with joy. They couldn't stop fidgeting with excitement! Steve and Stacy had found a seat exactly opposite where Pete Samms was going to stay. The match started, everyone screamed as Pete Samms ran into the arena. They were both going strong. Pete Samms dived and hit the ball really hard. The ball hit Stacy right in the face.

"What's going on?" Stacy asked. She was lying in a hospital bed with Steve, mum and dad beside her. "All I remember is that the ball was coming towards me and then I guess I just passed out," she said. "You're correct," the doctor said "But you are also very lucky! No injuries. You'll feel a little light headed for a few more hours and you'll be as good as new!"

Then there was a knock at the door and a man entered. Stacy couldn't believe her eyes. It was none other than, Pete Samms. "Is this the room where Stacy Hamilton is, please?" he asked. "Yes! I'm Stacy!" she said. He came in and sat next to her. "I hope you're okay," he said. "Yes I'm better thanks," she replied. He held out his tennis racket and said, "This is for you, its got my signature on it too. Just a present for you to remember this day as a good one!" Stacy's face glowed, she was thrilled. "Oh thank you! I really appreciate it!" she said. They were all really happy. "I wish I got hit!" said Steve said and everyone laughed!!
