Once upon a time there lived a wonderful girl named Uki. She lived with her father in a fishing place in Alaska. One fateful day Uki's father got very upset but no one knew why her father was so upset and no one could ever forget what happened to Uki u that day...

Flashes came to mind, they were on a cliff, Uki's father was holding her from her neck. Moments later she was flying over the cliffs turning and twisting on the way down. She hit her head on the rock and the waves dragged her body down to the sea. The fish ate her flesh leaving her as an impoverished skeleton.

One fine sunny morning a fisherman who was new to the area wanted to try his luck and went fishing. He wanted to catch a big fish and sell it in the market. With the money he thought that maybe he would find a woman to be his wife. Nothing happened... until sun set. He had caught Uki the skeleton. He was so captured in his thoughts that he didn't realise that on his line were human bones. As soon as he looked at the line from the corner of his eye and saw Uki he lost his mind.

  • He quickly rowed back to shore, ran to his tent as fast as his legs would carry him. Every time he looked over his shoulder he could see her doing summer salts and all kinds of cart wheels. Then he went to the far end of the tent. A while after, he started to realise that Uki was not dangerous after all. Slower then a snail he approached the skeleton. He un tangled the line and gently placed the bones back on her.

After a while he went to bed and a tear slide down his face. The skeleton kissed that tear with her bony lips. That tear filed her with the warmth of life and she started to dance and sing and soon after she was magically wearing a wedding dress. She continued singing and dancing and as time went by flesh came back on her. The next day they got married and lived happy ever after.
