The main thing about darts is arm and eye co-ordination. People have a different type of throw, such as Gary Anderson, Michael Van Gerwen,and Adrain Lewis.

Over the years, their have been different type of darts such as tungesten darts and brass darts.Most people use tungesten darts because they are the ones that are made now.

Famous darts players

The most famous darts player of all time was Phil (THE POWER) Taylor. He had won 16 world titles from the PDC and the BDO. Phil Taylor had lost in the final of the world championship against Rob "Voltage" Cross. Rob Cross has only been playing darts in the PDC for only 1 year. Gary Anderson is the world number 4. He is a 2 time world champion. It is only played once a year. Gary Anderson was the world number 2 but he has had back problems since October. The order of merit (the leader board) is: Michal van Gerwen 1, Rob Cross 2, Peter Wright 3, Gary Anderson 4, Daryl Gurney 5, Mensur Suljiovic 6, Simon Whitlock 7 Raymond Van Barneveld 8, Micheal Smith 9, Gerwen Price 10 and James Wade 11.
