SQUIRRELL MONKEY

They are some of the most commonly

seen monkeys in the Central American

rainforests.

They are 1 foot without their tails however with their tails they are 2 feet long as the tail ads another foot.

They weigh about 1.5-2.5 lbs.

They are only active

during the day time.

They live about 30 metres

off the ground usually

along rivers or streams.

Their diets include spiders,

young birds and fruit and nuts.

About 90% of their

diet is softfruit.

They can move almost

silently through the upper

canopy.

They spend most of

their lives in the trees.
