The Squirrel Monkey

The squirrel monkey is most commonly seen monkey in the Central American rainforests, and they spend most of their lives up in the trees and usually live along the banks of rivers or streams. About 90% of their diet is made up of soft tropical fruit, and their diets include spiders, young birds and fruit and nuts. They weigh about 1.5-2.5 lbs.
