POLAR BEARS

Did you know that polar bears aren't actually white?

Their fur is actually clear and the snow is what makes their fur white. This is because the snow reflects onto the fur which makes appear white and that's why if you see a polar bear in a zoo they are slightly yellow because the sun reflects on their fur and making it white.

polar bears are only successful on their hunts 2% of the time. They hunt Arctic foxes, bearded seals, fish and their favourite food is a ringed seal.
