But Marty had a plan. He knew how he was going to save the world. He planted the near lifeless branch he salvaged from the wreckage of the earth. In his shadowy room, a segment of warm light seeped through the dusty window: it made a smile on his face, comforted him and the blazing light made him feel welcoming. The blooming plants sprouted the strong leaves unfurled delicately. The healthy plant rose slowly. For Marty, the plant was a new start. It peace, bigger than he could ever have in this metal cave.

Plot point 6: A gift of life

At 5:30 every day, Marty cared for his plant rite away. Through the corner of his eye, in the dark lift, an unknown

mole caught his eye. Might this be a new companion? Eager to share ,kindly and gentilly he snipped off a segment of his treasured plant. As he tiptoed secretly along the misty corridor, he fidgeted with antisapation. As he planted the gift next to her door, he whispered, "Hope you can save the wilderness with me."
