Early life

Charles spent a lot of time collecting things. His father, Robert Darwin, was a successful doctor. Sadly by the age of eight, Charles’s mother, Sukey Wedgwood, died. His older sisters  taught him at home. Shortly after he turned nine, he was sent to boarding school.
