A Day In The Life

Of Pharaoh Seti 1st

This morning I woke and was bathed and dressed by my many servants,

then I headed down for a breakfast of bread and grapes.

My first meeting of the day was made

with my officials to make decisions

about how to run Egypt's farmland

and taxes.

For lunch I took a boat trip down the river Nile where I planned to commission a statue to the gods like The Sphinx Of Giza.

In the evening I spent time planning all the

precious things I would take into the afterlife

(chariots, jewellery, board games) and place

in my tomb in The Valley of The Kings.
