'The Horses Stables'

Dear Amanda,

Last Sunday I had so much fun when I met you at our stables. I had so much fun that I had finally met a new friend with whom I could play. We started playing together near the apple tree. Yesterday, I left you because I needed to go to the race arena. I had a race against other 25 horses.

I left the stable at 4:30 in the morning to go to Marsa. I did 2 hours of training before the race. The race started and I was the number 12. We took the position and we started racing. There were a lot of people watching us. Tony, my caregiver, was shouting,"Come on Spirit you can win!" I continued racing and another horse got hurt and we needed to stop.

The horse that got hurt was almost at the first place and by her hurting she lost her prize.Then the ambulance came for her. After all we needed to continue the race from lap number 5 because we had 15 laps in all. At the 13th lap I was in the first place. I stayed in this position in the other two laps.I won the prize because I finished first place. After I was so tired and when we went back to my stable I needed to rest. Tony gave me some hay and some fresh water and I slept all night.

I wish that you would come to visit me every day because you are such a good girl and you also make me happy.
