Road safety is about making sure you are safe in your car and other road users (including motorbikes and cyclists and pedestrians) are also safe. This poster is for all road users and pedestrians alike. So never take your eyes of the road.

1. Don't use your mobile phone whilst driving. Making or receiving a call, even using a 'hands free' phone, can distract your attention from driving and could lead to an accident.

TIPS

2. Always put you seat-belt on . An unbelted rear passenger can kill or seriously injure the driver or a front seat passenger.

3. Don't drink any alcohol before you drive , even a small amount , can impair your driving so be a safe driver don't drive and drink at the same time.

4. Always drive at a speed that suits the road condition s and be especially when you are close to a school .
