Physical Education/ Movement
It is always good to start the day with movement.
This week we are choosing between Andy’s Wild Workout’s or Otis’s Boogie Beebies. Some of you might be choosing to do both. Both workouts have an animal theme. Andy will take you to the African Savannah, whilst Oti will take you to the jungle. Have fun!

Phonics
This week we will be focussing on two sounds – w and x.
Today our sound is x.

3. Then practice writing the letter x. There are a few different practice sheets to choose from.

Literacy
This week our Literacy unit is "Bat Learns to Dance." There are 10 lessons in this unit but only 8 days until the end of term. So today, like yesterday, you will have a literacy lesson in the afternoon as well to make sure that we finish the unit before we go on Easter holidays. After today there will only be one literacy lesson a day. Both of today's literacy lessons are below. Make sure you have a proper break between doing the lessons though.

Sensory Play
Colourful spaghetti
- Cook a batch of spaghetti and divide it between bowls.
- Add different food colouring to each one and mix well.
- You will soon have a whole rainbow of squidgy ‘worms’ to play with.
This is a great activity to encourage communication skills as well. You can talk to your child about the different colours, their favourite colours, count the pieces of spaghetti, etc
