Q: How long have you been working in St. Georges?

A: I have been working at St Georges for 12 years.

Q: What's your favourite subject to teach and why?

A: I'd probably say maths because I love it when I see that a child has that light bulb moment when we have been doing a concept that has been really difficult and suddenly something clicks and they understand it.

Q: Did you work at any other school? If so what other school did you go to?

A: I did actually start here as a newly qualified teacher but I did go to a university in Bristol and so I did work in lots of schools there when I was a student at university.

Q: What's the best thing about St George's? Why?

A: I think the best thing is the children because you are all so lovely. I'm absolutely privileged to work at a school where the children are so enthusiastic, eager, friendly and lovely.

Q: Do you like being a teacher? Why?

A: Yes , I absolutely love being as teacher and I could not imagine me doing any other job. The reason I love being a teacher is because every day is different , it is lovely to have the relationships with the children and seeing them grow and develop and by the end of the year and see the changes in them and also the relationships with other staff and parents as well.

Q: What would your dream class be?

A: The classes that I have are all dream classes.

Q: What would your dream job be?

A: Well like I said I could not imagine myself doing any other job but it would be nice to be a teacher without all the paperwork or I love watching David Attenborough wildlife documentaries and I always think it would be amazing to go to all the corners of the earth where no one really explores and watch penguins in the arctic and if I could do anything that's what I would do.

Q: Q:Do you like reading books? If so, which types and who is your favourite author? Why?

A: I do love reading books I have always loved reading books and sometimes I don't get the time to read as much as I would like to I like to read books that are set in historic times so it might be America in the 60's , I have just finished reading Dictator by Robert Harris which was about the reign of Julius Caesar so a lot of the books I read are set in the historic times.

Q: What was your childhood dream?

A: I did want to be a teacher as I grew older but when I was very young I wanted to be a vet because I loved animals but I was a bit squeamish so I realised that I can't stand the sight of blood so I wouldn't be a very good vet.

Q: How do you feel about Donald Trump being president?

A: Concerned. I am a bit worried because I am not sure he has the right experience or outlook so we will have to wait and see happens.

Q: Where did you go to school when you were younger?

A: I went to St John Fisher in North Harrow.

Q: What is your favourite movie and why?

A: I think my most favourite movie ever has to be is called Circle of Friends because me and my cousin used to watch it all the time to the point where we knew every word of the film.
