Hello Buzzards!

I hope you enjoyed the lovely sunny bank holiday weekend.  I managed to see some cute VE Day decoration whilst I was out running my weekly errands.  It's great to see and hear about neighbours and communities coming together to host small events, whilst social distancing.  Apart from working from home, I haven't been up to much this week.  I was just about to finish my cardigan when I ran out of yarn! The yarn that I need is out of stock at the moment so it's going to be a long wait until I'll be able to order more.  Over the weekend, I did a lot of baking and cooking.  I baked more of the pineapple bread and they came out better than last week - they were softer and more golden in colour! I was craving some sushi but wasn't able to go out to get any so I decided to make some! I haven't made sushi in a very long time and I think I might make it a regular thing. They came out really well and I made some to share with some family and friends.

Next week, I'm starting to put together my office/craft studio that I've been planning for a long time.  Some of the furniture is coming next week and I'm excited to finally get a dedicated space to do my work.

Take care

Miss Yik
