Cathedral

Coventry Cathedral is a magnificent place: it has lots of

glass windows. Also it was built in 1951 (it was opened in 1962) it was bombed on 14 November 1940.The Cathedral Church of St Micheal, commonly known as Coventry Cathedral, is in the Diocese of Coventry. Also is part of the Church of England in Coventry, West Midlands, England. Did you know that the current (9th)bishop is Christopher Cocksworth and the current Dean is John Witcombe.

Special force from Germany during the Second World War orchestrated some bomb blasts in the city of Coventry. These bombings are infamously referred to the Coventry Blitz.
