WEEK 9 - SUPPLY AND DEMAND

Supply and demand were a main microsociety topic. Supply is when you have to much of a thing and nobody wants it E.g Someone has loads of lottery tickets yet no one is bothering to buy then. What you have to do to resolve that is start cutting down your supply but not ALL of it- just in case someone does want to buy it. Demand is the complete opposite. Demand is when you have lots of orders but not enough of the one thing everyone wants. E.g The same persons lottery tickets become extremly popular (I have no clue of how that would happen) but they dont have enough of the tickets to sell and they SELLOUT (like Taylor Swift concerts) what you should do if you dont have lottery tickets, you should start EITHER makeing more OR try to put your pruduct on bid when it becomes extremely scarce OR rise up the price.

Secondly, we read another story of planet NOTENUF this time the Zoggs family (the Zoggs got no probs) were very poor and disliked. The grandfather of the Zoggs family suggested they should satrt selling ropes; they were handy and could be made from a worthless plant. The Zoggs got convinced and went to aske another family if they could borrow their "worthless" plants, of the course, they agreed ( I would if they would give me bacon) and started making ropes. At first no one came. Oh great, they thought, now we have 50 ropes! So they hatched a new plan! CRACK! Their new plan was to lower the price for one week and hung signs. ROPE FOR ONE SEED ONLY! ITS NOW OR NEVER! FREE BACON, well maybe not the last one. People began to flood in (build your damms, folks) and the Zoggs started becomeing rich(now the Zoggs got no probs) only the people who gave then the ingredients realised how valuble it was, tyhey sarted to higher the price, that meant the Zoggs had to sell theyre rope for money.

Again we had a normal microsociety lessons, no petitions, no flying daggers and no stolen bacon (thanks, my lord) their is a new vote for a split banker, get half the pay and spend half the session banking, agin we wernt allowed to still be tidying up after the timer otherwhise we'd get a fine.
