Blwyddyn 4

Dear Parent / Carer,

I would like to welcome you all to a new term and hope you have had a lovely sum-mer holiday. We have a busy and fun filled term ahead of us. Our topic this term will be history based, focusing on Celts and Romans. The children will have an active involvement in planning this terms work. We are also visiting Castell Henllys on Tuesday 9th September which will be a fantastic opportunity for the children to learn about Celtic life. I would like to invite you to a welcome meeting on Tuesday 16th September at 2.45 pm, where I will be able to answer any questions or concerns you may have.

Reminders

Homework will be sent out every Monday to be returned by Friday. Rewards will be given to pupils who return their homework every week.

The children will also need to read to an adult at least twice a week at home. The junior doors will be opened every morning by a teacher at 8.50am.

If your son/daughter arrives late they need to go to the office to sign in before coming to class.

If your son/daughter is absent from school please contact the office on 583366 to let us know.

We would like all children to wear school uniform; uniform is available to purchase from the office.

All pupils will be required to change for our PE sessions. PE will be on Wednesday and Friday afternoons.

If you have any queries or concerns this year, please do not hesitate to contact me.

Yours sincerely,

Mrs S Miller

Class Teacher
