WALT: Use fronted adverbials to write a setting description.

Last Summer I went on the most amazing adventure. Let me tell you all about what I saw.

When I dived, I could feel the cool water splashing against my face. I nearly bashed into a giant blue whale. The blue whale was very big. It was as big as a house or two. Just then, I saw a shoal of fish swimming right past my face like a silver submarine. They seemed to be running away from something. Oh no, theres a shark! Thats what they were running away from! It was big and it had teeth like a crocodiles. Next to the coral, there was a big splash! And all of a sudden three dolphins danced into the sunlight zone. When I swam down, I nearly crashed headfirst into a turtle's shell because they were all behind the rocks and I didn't see them. The shell was as hard as rock. Nervously, I wondered whether it would nip me, so I quickly swam away, crashing into the big blue whale I had seen earlier. The blue whale nearly ate me up if it wasn't for the turtle who grabbed hold of my swim suit and pushed me into down. Into the trenches we tumbled till I bounced off a super-slimy, squishy blobfish. Disgustedly, I quickly scrambled off and grabbed hold of my turtle friend, Shelly, before she fell onto him too. Suddenly, something came hurtling towards us. "Gemma!" gasped

Shelly. "What you doing here?" grunted the blobfish. "My name is Mike. Oh no! A turtle and a dolphin coming into the twilight zone! Either way now that you're here I will take you on a tour." But when Mike was taking them to see the angler fish, Gemma and Shelly started breathing heavily! Mike was the king of the twilight zone, so he screamed "Servants! Take these two back up to the sunlight zone and hurry." So they hurried me along too. I couldn't believe how fast they were! At least we were back in the sunlight zone in time before they stopped breathing altogether. "Thank you very much Olivia" said Gemma and Shelly, in perfect unison. So I hopped on Gemma's back and they both escorted me back to the beach.
