The Christmas Story

For the challenge this week you will find an advent calendar in your child’s wallet. Your child can decorate this if they wish as it could do with a bit of extra colour! Please read to them the poem below:

Santa’s beard is very bare,

On his chin he has no hair!

So each day add one puff ofwhite,

When they are all on he will come that night.

Each day please cross off or place some cotton wool on the number. To support your child's mathematical development please talk about the numbers, try and find them in the environment and use the calendar to count how many sleeps there are until Christmas. The Christmas countdown has begun!

Your child has made a Christmas decoration for you to purchase if you wish, at the Nativity performance, we ask for contributions of at least a pound. We are raising money to develop our outdoor area. Thank you for all your support.
