Please sing this nursery rhyme with your child and talk about advent, the countdown to Christmas.

We also ask that next week you send your child in with a labelled wooden spoon, we can't tell you what it is for...but it will come back to you in disguise!

The children have another fun packed week ahead! Singing Twinkle, Twinkle and sharing stories related to night time such as ‘Goodnight Owl’ and ‘The Owl Who Was Afraid of the Dark’. The children will have opportunities to explore torches and create using shiny, sparkly media. The children will work together to create a Foundation Advent Tree and will also begin making some festive items that you will see very soon.

Next week will be the last Reading Together session before Christmas. The sessions will begin again on Wednesday 10 th January 2018.
